These operating principles and policies respect and align with the legal requirements and moral obligations relating to what is available to you through this site and how you can access it. In observing those laws and honouring those obligations, I thank you in anticipation of your willingness to embrace and be subject to them.
The process of joining is what is referred to as “double opt-in”, whereby you are asked – by way of an email generated when you first submit your details – to confirm your desire to have me stay in touch; this way we both know you absolutely want to hear from me.
Together with Amazing Grace Productions Ltd, who take care of much of the behind-the-scenes administration of my activity on-line, I am committed to protecting this information and respecting your privacy. This is confirmed in my compliance with the Data Protection Act of 1998, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 2018. This privacy extends to the use of any third parties to help provide this service – such as Mailchimp and Eventbrite – providers who may also be bound by the Data Protection regulations.
Every email you receive from me will always contains the option to update your information should your name or email address change, putting you in complete control of what information I have access to about you. Also, you will always have the option to remove your details by unsubscribing, but I hope you’ll feel you get so much benefit from what arrives in your in-box that you’ll choose to stay connected.
Your details will never be shared, disclosed, transferred or sold to any third parties; they will remain secure and will only be used in accordance with the basis on which you submitted them initially.

My Transparent Pricing & Excellent Value Policy is a commitment to only making available what are believed to be fairly and appropriately priced products and services, designed to enhance your mental, physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
My No ‘BS’, No Pester, No Hard-sell Policy means your in-box will not be bombarded with face-less emails attempting to persuade you to part with anything that matters to you. Everything you do receive by virtue of signing up to the site will be sent on the premise that you are discerning enough to know and feel if it is right for you.
The Changing Your Mind Policy embraces your statutory right under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, 2000, to change your mind and be considered for a full or partial refund of any investment you may make in a product or service within seven working days of purchasing, registering (or renewing) as long as no downloading or recording of information has taken place.
Notification of any desire to change your mind must be received in writing. This protects you by ensuring you can review any purchase and know that you have invested wisely, and protects me from anyone attempting to abuse the copyrighted nature of the content or endeavouring to get their hands on something without honouring what has been invested to make it available.
My First Class Service Policy ensures that, barring any unforeseen web-related technical errors, this website should always be available. If for any reason the service is rendered unavailable immediate and appropriate action will be taken. Thank you, in advance, for your understanding when and if uncontrollable circumstances render the facility unavailable for any reason. The aim is to have the facility fully operational at all times.
My Two-way Feedback Policy means that any feedback, comment or complaint of any nature will be taken seriously, assessed independently, fairly and objectively on its own merits, and in the first instance handled by me personally.
Governance These Operating Principles shall be governed by and construed under English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. These principles, together with terms and conditions that may be product- or service-specific, may be changed from time to time and further principles and terms and conditions may apply to any part of the site’s content.
Permission The facility is owned and operated by Richard D Moat. No material, graphic or image from this website may be appropriated or modified in any manner, or reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way, nor is any party permitted to establish links with or on this website without prior permission from Richard D Moat.
Copyright The copyright, database right and all rights in the nature of copyright in all elements of the Richard Moat website, including the Health Detective Agency facility (including but not limited to graphic works, other artistic works and literary works, and sound recordings), is owned by Richard D Moat.
Responsibility Because your health is your responsibility and there exists strict guidelines that the various worldwide medical governing bodies stipulate regarding what can and cannot be stated and claimed, you must decide if what you learn and have access to through this site applies to you.
Opinion All of the information and opinions contained in this site are provided as an allied point of view to that/those you may already adopt, follow, be trained in or hold, and are designed to increase your options, broaden your horizons, and empower you to make more informed choices.
